Linux mint for mac on usb sevenbits persistance not working

Without the GRUB boot loader, the installed system will not boot. First, I got an GRUB installation error: The ‘grub-efi-amd64-signed’ package failed to install into /target/. Recently, Linux Mint 19 was released, almost three months after the release of Ubuntu LTS 18.04, with many new features and I decided to give it a try, but the installation was not as smooth as I expected. Linux Mint is a popular Linux distro and is based on Ubuntu LTS distribution.
